Koch Modular to Discuss Three Differing Approaches to Industrial Decarbonization at AIChE Spring Meeting and 19th Global Congress on Process Safety

Join Koch Modular at the AIChE 2023 Spring Meeting and 19th Global Congress on Process Safety in Houston, Texas, March 12-16, 2023.

At this year’s convention, Koch Modular Project Manager, Junius Jones, will discuss three alternate pathways and technologies to reduce CO₂ output, critical factors in delivering successful decarbonization projects, and the future of decarbonization on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 at 2:20 pm CST in room 340AB at the Hilton Americas.

“We are excited to collaborate with emerging technology companies that address these important challenges head-on,” states Jones. “Whether replacing products requiring petroleum-based feedstocks that emit CO₂ during manufacturing with carbon-negative products, petroleum-based manufactured products with recycled products, or capturing emitted CO₂ from conventional processes, our team of experts are dedicated to solving the most complex separation problems.”

In an interview with Process-Worldwide, Tom Schafer, the Vice President of Koch Modular, discussed how the industry is moving away from relying on petroleum-based feedstocks and instead focusing on decarbonization projects that require scalability and repeatable design features. To meet these needs, modular plants are becoming increasingly popular. According to Schafer, modular plant delivery is essential for bringing future projects to the market, playing a critical and strategic role in delivering sustainable solutions.

With clients such as PureCycle Technologies, Origin Materials, Bluescape, and Regen III, Koch Modular is eager to share its expertise and real-life experience with separation technology and applications within the chemical processing industry.
