Koch Modular Employees Explore Mohonk at Annual Company Outing

Koch Modular employees gathered at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY,  for their Annual Company Outing.

Recently Koch Modular employees traveled from near and far to participate in the Koch Modular Annual Company Outing held at the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. Throughout the day, employees engaged in group activities such as golf, tennis, basketball, cycling, and hiking, while others enjoyed the scenic views of the Shawangunk Mountains. The one-day event concluded with a cocktail reception and group dinner. 

"In a post-Covid world where remote work has become the new normal, we feel that it is important to connect and spend time in person with our employees," states Koch Modular's Director of Human Resources, Lisa Dlugo. Many departments jumped on the opportunity for their teams to meet in a more intimate, face-to-face setting the day before the event. The goal was to take advantage of the centralized location for employees to connect with colleagues new and old. 

During the event, employees raved about the beautiful weather and were thrilled to finally have a chance to see the faces of those typically behind a screen. "True collaboration happens when employees can build personal connections. As our company continues to grow, the value of in-person gatherings is unmatched. We continue to stress the importance of building connection while providing a flexible, remote-work environment," states Dlugo.
