Glycol recovery is a cost effective method for recovering glycols from wastewater. Koch Modular Process Systems created this modular ethylene glycol distillation system to treat a waste stream from a US fiber producer. This process system effectively removes low and high point boiling impurities.
The system employs a Turba-Film® thin film evaporator supplied by LCI Corporation to remove solids from the feed stock. The Glycol Recovery Process technology was developed by the Koch Modular Process Systems’ engineers.
