Modular Fabrication Continues on PureCycle’s Ultra-Pure Recycled Polypropylene Process Plant– Project Update #2

A Modular Approach to Plastic Recycling: Project Update – Module assembly continues to advance on a PureCycle Technologies first-of-a-kind ultra-pure recycled (UPR) Plant.  A lot has happened since our last project update in January.  With steel completed on the first series of modules, installation of vessels is proceeding on schedule. PureCycle Technologies engaged Koch Modular at an early stage to develop a demonstration scale system and upon successfully proving technology, has commenced engineering and modularization of PureCycle’s first commercial plant. Once completed, this plant is expected to produce over 105 million pounds of ultra-pure recycled (UPR) resin per year, which will be used in consumer goods packaging, home furnishings, and other applications that currently have very limited options for recycled polypropylene today. Make sure to follow Koch Modular to receive periodic project updates and watch this plant come to life.
